The Ezi Ogu clan in Ebiraland gathered in Okene-Eba, Okene Local Government Area, to celebrate their annual Unity Day. The community-wide event brought together elders, traditional titleholders, and indigenes to promote unity, foster socio-cultural development, and honor their shared ancestral heritage.
The Ezi Ogu clan has numerous settlements spread across the Local Government Areas of Kogi Central. They are widely recognized for being highly accommodating and maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships within society.

Mr. Muhammed Otuoze, the President of the Ezi Ogu clan, expressed his excitement over the massive crowd that turned out to grace the historical occasion.
He prayed for the forefathers who fought tirelessly to liberate the land, both physically and spiritually, and for the peaceful co-existence that we enjoy today in Ebiraland.
The Ezi Ogu clan has unveiled their indigenous clothing to serve as a unifying identity for all Ogu descendants.
While preaching unity among the Ogu clan, Mr. Otuoze stated that Ebiraland belongs to every indigene. He encouraged the people to build up their homeland so that it appears attractive and welcoming to outsiders.
The entire Ogu clan trekked from Okene-Eba down to the Okene Club Event Center. Dignitaries and loved ones gathered to rejoice and celebrate together, enjoying a fantastic time filled with vibrant entertainment from Ebira indigenous musicians.
The former Chairman of Okene Local Government, Hon. Yahaya Karaku, who graced the occasion, has sent his appreciation to the Eziogu family and the entire Ebiraland for the love they expressed during this historical event.
