The Eleson of Felele, Chief Alhassan Eki has commended the lawmaker representing Lokoja 2 Constituency, Hon. Idris Ndako for initiating programmes aimed at alleviating poverty in the area.
Alhassan gave the commendation when Ndako visited him while on a campaign tour of Oworo East on Friday at his Felele palace.
“Your programmes like the youth empowerment programs and poverty alleviation has gone along way in boosting the Lokoja 2 Constituency’s economy,” he said.
He also called on the the APC House of Representative candidate for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Alh. Abdulkarim Isah Wambai to emulate Ndako by initiating programmes that would alleviate poverty, if elected, so as to ensure the well being of the people of the area.
According to Alhassan, the Traditional Council will continue to support the APC led administration at all levels and will continued to remind government on issues relating to well being of our subjects whenever the need arises.
Earlier, Ndako said their visit was not only to seek for re-election, but to also commend the people Felele for their tireless support to him and the APC administration led by Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello
“We are in your palace not only to tell the people what we are doing for the past three and half years, but also to introduce Alhaji Abdulkarim Isah, the APC flagbearer for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency and remind you and your subjects on the need to perform their civic responsibilities by voting right candidates as our party have lineup the best candidates in February and March elections.
Ndako said efforts is been made to extend the Greater Lokoja Water pipeline from Felele to Crusher by the present administration despite the huge amount expected to spend on the project.
While introducing Alhaji Abdulkarim Isah Wambai as the House of representative candidate for Lokoja/Kogi federal Constituency, Ndako said: “I promised to present reliable candidate during the last by election and we presented Hon. Haruna Isah. Your Royal Highness, it will interest you to know that Alhaji Haruna Isah has sunk a solar borehole in your domain which would be commission soon.
“We are hear to seek for his Royal Highness blessing and seek for your support,among our delegation include the talk and do Administrator of Lokoja Local Government area Hon. Shiru Lawal.”
He appealed to the people of Felele to vote for all APC candidates who is described as more trusted and reliable.
Ndako assured them of APC candidates determination towards moving Lokoja 1Constituency, Kogi West Senatorial District and Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency to the next level if giving the opportunity to serve.
The trail has in delegation; Rt Hon. Ahmed Umar Imam, the Administrator of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon. Shiru Lawal, APC Chieftains from Lokoja 2 Constituency and a host of others.
The Ndako /Wambai Campaign trail is to expected to tour Oworo East in Lokoja 2Constituency.
