Eid-Fitr: Okene Administrator Enjoins Muslims to Imbibe the Lessons of Ramadan

As Muslims all over the world celebrate the successful completion of Ramadan fast, the Administrator of Okene Local Government Area, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad has felicitated with Muslims faithfuls on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Fitr and urged them to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan which include tolerance, perseverance and complete obedience to the will of Almighty Allah.

In a Press Statement released through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Abdulmumin Abubakar, Hon. Abdulrazaq reminded Muslims of their spiritual lives during the Ramadan that entrenched peaceful coexistence within the Muslims and non Muslim communities, uncommon show of love to one another and complete restrained from wrong doings should continue to be the hallmark of their activities even after the Ramadan fast.

He said, “I am happy the Ramadan period provided us the opportunity to pray for the peace and progress of our land, therefore, I want to sincerely thank all those who took time to offered prayers for the progress of our dear state”.

The Council boss wish to also appreciate the good people of Okene Local Government for their support and commitment to the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.

“I assure you on behalf of the governor that your sacrifices, faith and uncommon display of loyalty to the government will never go unrewarded. We are committed in building a united Kogi State where peace and justice shall reign.

“I urge you to go all out and celebrate the Sallah festival as necessary security arrangements have been provided to protect lives and property,” he said.
