The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatoral district, Ahmed Ogembe, has urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) as they celebrate his birthday.
In his Eid-el-maulud message to his constituents, Ogembe said all Muslims should live their lives in a way that would reflect the preaching of the prophet as this will make our society a better place for all.
He said: “we must continue to live peacefully with one another irrespective of our religious differences, especially with the people of other religion”.
Ogembe said one of the teachings of the Holy Prophet is tolerance, adding that people must not be tired of loving and tolerating one another as demanded by the Holy Prophet.
The Senator, therefore, charged the people to always help the needy in the society and to always offer prayer for the country as a whole.
