In the aggressive drive to open up all the abandoned rural roads to ease the movement of the people and goods from the hinterland to urban centers, the Chief Administrator of Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Honourable Baron Okwoli, hinted that work is near completion on the road linking all feeder roads in Odolu axis.
Speaking with the community while monitoring progress made on the rehabilitation site, Okwoli expressed his determination to opened up all the abandoned feeder roads within Igalamela/Odolu within the shortest time. He said most of these roads were abandoned by the past administrations.
He explained that his drive to open up all the roads is in harmony with the ‘New Direction’ blueprint of the Alhaji Yahaya Bello-led government in Kogi State.
Honurable Okwoli urged other communities within Igalamela-Odolu LGA to exercise patience as the same gesture shall be extended to them.
The members of the community expressed their joy by praying for Governor Bello and Honourable Okwoli. They pledged their unalloyed support for the APC government in Kogi State and Igalamela/Odolu.
