Dr. Adekoya Folabora Bryhm, the 2027 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Kogi State, has sent his deepest condolences to the family of former Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and to the entire people of Kogi State over the death of the former governor. He described the loss as painful and irreplaceable, not only to the immediate family but also to the state and the nation at large.
Dr. Bryhm described the late Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as a pillar of Kogi State politics and a national asset to Kogi State. According to him, the former governor was a leader whose influence, experience, and commitment to unity helped shape the political direction of the state and contributed meaningfully to its development.
The 2027 PDP aspirant noted that the late former governor was a father figure to many and a bridge-builder who placed the interest of Kogi State above personal considerations. He said the deceased’s humility, wisdom, and courage remain worthy examples for present and future leaders to emulate.

Dr. Bryhm urged the family, friends, political associates, and the people of Kogi State to take solace in the worthy legacy left behind by the late leader. He prayed that Almighty Allah will grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and give Kogites the strength to move forward in unity.
He concluded by praying for the repose of the soul of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, asking Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
