Any policy that will bring food on the table of our people should be the utmost focus of the government in Kogi state now. And we need to engineer the process with every sincerity of purposes and commitment to vision.
I am saying this against the news making round of some developments in Lokoja, the seat of power in my state.
I was informed that the new government has started demolishing roundabouts with the intention of buildings new ones.
To me there is noting wrong in having new roundabouts but my big question lies on the appropriateness.
How on earth will the government start its developmental agenda with this action? Even in the face of our infrastructural deficit and the ugly face of Lokoja, I don’t think the roundabouts are the priority.
Immediate food on the table of our people will reduce illnesses, diseases and deaths in Kogi state. This is the utmost priority of kogites now.
Don’t let us throw away the content with the container. My message is not the messenger.
Reorder your priorities and stop being myopic, heed to superiority of advise and experience.
There is no better time to market the Ebira leadership potentials than now.
I have said my own even if some uninformed minds will say my mouth is stinking!
