Democracy Day: Mike Abu Hails Wada/Awoniyi’s Strides

Capt Idris Wada the Kogi State Governor has been praised for his developmental projects that has helped reposition the State as the nation marks fourteen years of uninterrupted democracy.

Making the assertion while  appraising this years Democracy Anniversary, Abu Micheal, Chief Press Secretary to Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi, said Capt Idris Wada has continued to execute laudable projects and programs that have given succor to the people to justify their mandate.

He described as democracy gift the Governor’s Ground breaking ceremony of 250 units for flood victims and his dogged determination to complete all inherited projects from immediate past administration as worthy of commendation.

The Media Aide described the on going work at the Confluence Beach Hotel, Mount Patti Road, New Secretariat Complex among other project inherited and been completed by the present administration as worthy of commendation, saying the due process adopted by the Wada led administration had curbed corruption.

Abu Micheal gave the assurance that the Wada-Awoniyi led administration would implement landmark projects designed to trigger rapid economic development and job creation between now and 2016.

He commended the people of the state for their abiding faith in the Wada led administration that is slowly but steadily delivering the gains of democracy to the people within a relatively short time in office.
