Kogi State Governor Idris Wada says his victory at the Supreme Court will enable him concentrate on developing the state.

Wada said yesterday while addressing party supporters on his victory: “Now that the litigation is over, I can now sit down and work for the state and people. We will now have time to pursue developmental projects that will impact positively on the lives of the people,” he said.

He called on the opposition to join hands with him to develop the state to make it one of the leading and most developed states in the country.

“Let us all now go home and do the work we have to do for Kogi State. Every one of you must have to renew his ambition, commitment and focus for the state. Let us spread the message of unity, peace and togetherness. The judiciary is where we are supposed to ventilate our grievances and anger and once judgment is given by the highest court, no other interpretation can be given again. We have won for democracy and for the people of Kogi. It is time for us to forge ahead,” he said.
