Orokere-Amuro Welfare Association (OWA) the umbrella body of Orokere Community has joined various groups in the community to commend and show appreciation to the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Youth Empowerment and Student Affairs (YESSA), Hon. M.D. Eseyin for his unrelenting efforts in the development of the community. Before the latest show of appreciation from OWA, the traditional institution, students body and other interest groups in the community have commended Hon. M.D. Eseyin for attracting sustainable development through his connection and office to the community.
In a letter jointly signed by OWA National President; Pastor Moses Anjorin and the National Secretary of the Association; Deacon Obajemu Tope, the Association highlighted the invaluable role played by Hon. M.D. Eseyin for the most successful hosting of Orokere Day in the community’s history while not leaving out the water project in the community, summer coach classes and scholarship to indigent students and the furnishing of the Ajugbonjagun’s palace all thanks to the Olu-Omo of Orokere Amuro.
The Association concluded that the esteemed title of Olu-Omo bestowed on Hon. M. D. Eseyin by the traditional institution in the community is a step in the right direction considering his record of achievements in the developmental stride of the community.
It is worthy to note that, Hon. M. D. Eseyin has leveraged on his position to positively impact on his community and he is not distracted in this quest. The community across board is highly appreciative of the activities of Hon. M. D. Eseyin and prays for divine guidance and protection for him to do more for the community.
