In a most dramatic, unbelievable fashion, Kogi born boxing heavyweight champion, Emmanuel Onoja, on Sunday, defeated his Lebanese opponent, Amer Nabi in the first round at the World Heavyweight Championship title fight in Lagos.
In a stunning bout, Onoja knocked out Amer with his very first punch.
Onoja gave special thanks to all Nigerians and Kogi indigenes in particular for turning out to cheer him to victory. He also thanked the Kogi State Government for its support.
A rematch is expected in Abuja in July this year.
