Attah Igala: Yomi Awoniyi Pays Condolence Visit

The deputy governor of Kogi State. Architect Yomi Awoniyi, yesterday paid a condolence visit to the palace of the late Attah Igala, Dr. Aliyu Obaje.

The  deputy governor who was accompanied by Alhaji Jubrin Usman and Alhaji Abdul Adama, expressed his grief over the loss of the monarch.

Awoniyi explained to the gathering at the palace that the executive governor of the state, Captain Idris Wada was just touching down at China when he heard of the demise of the royal father and would as a matter of priority visit the kingdom as soon as he returns.

The deputy governor recalled his warm relationship with the late Attah Igala whom he described as a true leader who piloted the affairs of Kogi State Traditional Council without rancour.
