The Atta Igala and President Kogi State Traditional Council of Chiefs, Dr. Idakwo Michael Ameh Oboni II, has joined his ancestors.
Prince Ocholi Idakwo, son of the Attah of Igala, while addressing newsmen in Idah on Saturday, confirmed that the 72year old monarch joined his ancestors on Thursday, August 27.
While commending the people for standing with the family in their time of distress, the Prince described his father as a man of action and one who was passionate about upholding the rich cultures of Igala.
Ameh Oboni II, the 27th Attah Igala, passed on at Nisa Premier Hospital, Abuja on Thursday morning after undergoing a pile operation.
Meanwhile, sympathizers have begun to troop into the Palace to register their condolences.
