A youth group within the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Adavi local government area of Kogi State, Adavi Progressives, has called on Governor Yahaya Bello to replace the Administrator of the council, Hon. Abu Enesi Ajoge with a more focused leader.
The leader of the group, Comrade Amoda Otori made this known in a chat with Kogireports on Friday. He said Ajoge is under-performing and acts like a confused Administrator.
Otori said the group is calling on Governor Bello to remove the Administrator and give the council a more vibrant goal-getter.
“The expectations from youths is high, especially when the governor is a vibrant and energetic youth who is performing so high with the mandate given to him.
“The expectations range from the need to rejuvenate the economy of Adavi LGA, youths-friendliness and addressing the issues of human and community development.
“It is high time for Gov. Yahaya Bello to assess the performance of Adavi administrator. There is the need to inject new and fresh ideas into the council to steer the council to a great height.
“There is high expectation in how to rejuvenate the machinery of the APC government in Adavi local government, especially looking at the performance of the administrator. I think, usually in the life of any administration, halfway down the line will be a enough time to assess his performance and then assess the impact that they put into the system.
“One and half year down the line, Hon. Ajoge’s administration has not done well so far. He has no achievement that can be used in campaigning to win election for APC in Adavi local government,” he said.
The group urge the governor to replace Adavi administrator if the party must succeed and have victory in Adavi local government.
