Adavi Administrator Flags Off Distribution of Relief Materials to Victims of Rainstorm

The Administrator of Adavi Local Government, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami has flagged off the distribution of relief items to the victims  of rainstorm in the local government.
At the flag-off ceremony on Friday at Adavi LG Secretariat, the council boss said the materials were meant to ameliorate the suffering of the victim’s urgent needs.
He sympathized with the affected victims and advised them to make judicious use of the relief materials given to them just to cushion the effect of their untold hardship.
The Administrator commended the state government led by Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for the prompt response in giving relief materials to palliate the suffering of the victims despite the financial meltdown in the country.
He reminded the victims to double their faith in God and pray for the success of Governor Bello’s administration in Kogi state.
Earlier, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Ozizi Araga appreciated the gesture of the state government in giving urgent attention to the affected victims.
He praised the resilience and understanding displayed by the victims and advised the beneficiaries to give unflinching support the government at state and local government levels in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
In a vote of thanks, the Chief of Staff to Adavi L.G boss, Hon. Muhammed Ochenika Musa expressed his happiness to the state government for this onerous responsibility of donating relief items to the victims in order to meet their immediate needs.
Hon. Ochenika described the council boss as a well grounded grassroot politician who always make the welfare of his subjects a priority.
He eligible voters in the area to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to enable them vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in the forthcoming general elections.
