The Olu of Aiyegunle Gbedde in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state, Oba Lateef Folorunsho Haruna, Alafin II, has congratulated Governor Usman Ododo on his victory at the supreme court.
In a message on Tuesday, the monarch said the judgement affirming Governor Ododo election victory was divine.
The monarch applauded Governor Ododo’s evident achievements so far in office.
“On behalf of the traditional council and the people of Aiyegunle Gbedde, Ijumu local government, I congratulate our amiable and the people Governor of Kogi State on your victory through the Judicial process, and more importantly at the supreme Court.
“No doubt, this victory is divine through the mandate of the people of Kogi State.
“We celebrate you, your excellency, and your achievements and your efforts to build on the foundations laid by past administrations in the state,” he said.
Oba Lateef also congratulated Governor Ododo and the people of the State on the 33 years of peaceful co- existence.
