The death has occurred of Hajia Fatima Yusuf-Ajibola, mother of former Managing Director of Daily Trust Newspaper, HRH Alhaji Isiaq Ajibola.
Aged 110 years, she died on Tuesday night in Ife-Olukotun, Yagba East local government area of Kogi state, after a brief illness.
Late Hajia Ajibola was a devoted Muslim who left behind many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Among the children she left behind are HRH, Alh Isiaq Ajibola, the Akogun of Ife-Olukotun; Hajia Ayisat Lasisi, and Hajia Sabitiu Hussain.
She had since been buried today, in accordance with the Islamic rites.
A statement from her family added that her three-day fidau prayers will come on Friday, February 2, 2024, at her residence in Ife-Olukotun, Yagba East LGA of Kogi State.
