Abuja -The Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN), under the leadership of Dr. MD Eseyin FPOP FLMI, has extended its warm congratulations to the newly sworn-in Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo.
POHAN, being the parent umbrella Association for Public Office Holders in Nigeria, both elected and appointed, commended the Governor for his swift action in inaugurating his executive council and ensuring that the administration hits the ground running without wasting time.
In a statement signed by MD Eseyin, “The Association also takes this opportunity to congratulate the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello CON, for his dedicated service to the state and wishes him success in his future endeavors.”
POHAN charged Governor Ododo and his team to serve as ambassadors of public service, especially in promoting transparency, equity and justice.
The Association encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of conduct and ethics in their service to the people, stressing that welfare and security, as the essence of government, should be prioritized.
POHAN emphasized the importance of safeguarding the lives and properties of the citizens, and urges Governor Ododo and his team to give this issue due attention.
Eseyin stated that as the leading association for public office holders in Nigeria, POHAN remains committed to supporting the government in its efforts to improve the lives of the people of Kogi State.
He said the Association is confident that under the leadership of Governor Ododo, the state will witness significant progress and development.
