Kogi Gov’ship: Dr. Ogbo Urges Ododo Campaigners in Ogori-Magongo to be Scientific, Analytical

As part of the last lap preparation for the governorship election on Saturday, November 11, the Rector of the Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Dr. Salisu Usman Ogbo has charged the stakeholders, stalwarts and members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area to make use of scientific and analytical campaign techniques in winning the poll for the party’s candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comrade Joel Oyibo.

The Rector gave this admonition yesterday in Lokoja when he played host to leaders of “Salisu Ogbo Usman Support Group For Ododo and Joel Mandate”

The Ogbo Usman Support Group For Ododo and Joel Mandate from Ogori Magongo was led in an audience with the Rector by Hon Ephraim Amurawaye and Hon Obin Aimila.

While assuring the support group of the party’s preparedness for the Saturday governorship election, Dr Ogbo, a political scientist, said since the Ogori-Magongo local government area comprises of communities of highly enlightened people, it needs scientific and analytical model of campaign for the election.

Dr Ogbo, who noted that the Ogori-Magongo people have contributed immensely to the success of the APC led administration in the state, said that their roles are highly recognized by the leadership of the party in the state.

The Rector promised to serve as advocate for the Ogori and Magongo communities in the new government of the APC under Alhaji Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo in the incoming administration in the state in terms of development advocacies, but advised them to ensure the victory of the Ododo-Joel Mandate in the area come November, 11th.
