Igalamela/Odolu: Enefola Major Dedicates Victory to God, Appreciates Voters, Party Leaders

Igalamela/Odolu State Constituency lawmaker-elect, Enefola Major has dedicated his victory at the recently conducted House of Assembly election in the constituency to God.

He made the remark at a victory celebration party held by APC supporters to celebrate the victory of the party in all the 2023 elections conducted in local government area.

The lawmaker-elect praised the officials and ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting what he described as a “free, fair, transparent and credible elections.”

“I thank in a most special way the good people of Igalamela/Odolu local government for enduring the physical challenges to come out in large numbers to deliver a landslide and absolutely emphatic victory for us in the election.

“This is a victory for democracy, a victory for lovers of unprecedented representation and a victory for all those who wish to return Igalamela/Odolu to the very best of lawmaking and community development initiatives in the hallowed chamber of the Kogi State House of Assembly,” he said.

Enefola equally appreciated the leadership of the APC in Kogi State and Igalamela/Odolu local government area.

“The victory we are celebrating today would have been impossible without the invaluable leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC and governorship hopeful Alhaji Yakubu Murtala Ajaka, Chairman of the local government, Hon James Omachonu Onoja, Commissioner for Transportation, Chief Baron Okwoli, House of Assembly member, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, Igalamela/Odolu APC Chairman, Hon Paul Abalaka, all ten ward Councillors and other party stakeholders,” he added.

He assured the people of the Constituency that “a new order has come. I promise to hit the ground running. The masses will begin to feel my pact from day one.”

Enefola Major hails from Akolo, Oji-Aji Ward of Igalamela/Odolu local government area and becomes the first citizen of the ward to attain this political height.
