An explosion, on Thursday morning, rocked the ancient city of Okene, Kogi state.
The explosion occurred a few hours before the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari who is currently in Kogi State to commission Governor Yahaya Bello’s legacy projects.
However, the cause of the explosion is uncertain as at the time of filing this report as some persons attributed it to a bomb blast, while others said it was a transformer blast.
However, four persons have been reportedly killed in the explosion that happened just a few meters from the Ohinoyi of Ebira land’s palace at Kuroko Street in Okene.
