If there is any doubt by any that the late former Director-General of National Space Research And Development Agency (NASRDA), Prof Saidu Onailo Mohammed lived a worthy life and loved by many far and near, the attendance at his burial and the 8th days burial ceremony said it all.
We as a family took your attendance and show of love to the family as a testament that our beloved father and uncle, Prof Saidu Mohammad came like a meteor and lived behind a trail of light. Your attendance at our moment of grief also exceptionally depicts to us the family that he shall be missed not only by his family members but by all he has come in contact with in his life time.
Your love at our painful moment has once again buttressed to us the bereaved that our father and uncle indeed lived a worthy life judging by the calibre of dignitaries and well wishers that blessed us with their presence. It confirmed to us that really their is no price on a true friendship.
We particularly thank his Excellency, the governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, who was ably represented by his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, for leading his members of cabinet and important dignitaries so many to mention to the burial.
We also thank the able Director-General of NASRDA, Dr Halilu Ahmad Shaba for blessing us with his presence in company of his staff. Dr Shaba, your immense contribution towards the successful burial of one of your very own shall never be forgotten.
We thank all that cannot individually be mentioned for their presence especially, the senator representing Kogi East, Sen. Jibrin Isah Echocho; member representative Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal constituency, Hon Halims Ibrahim Ali; the Deputy Apeaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Rabiu Ishiaka Alfa; Alh Mukhtar Ajaka, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling party APC; Hon Hassan Omale; Alh Ibrahim Aboh, chairman Omala local government; Alh Umar Ibrahim of NITDA Abuja, Director, Centre for Atmospheric Research Anyangba; Dr Kashim Akor, DG National Productivity Centre Abuja; Senator Barau, chairman senate appropriation committee; Alh Alfa Ndanusa, members Kogi State House of Assembly, management and staff of NASRDA, traditional leaders, security agencies, press, among others.
