Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has unveiled a new official website and a revamped Student/Online Services Portal, a development the institution says marks another milestone in its drive towards improved digital access, information dissemination and efficient service delivery.
A statement issued by the institution’s Directorate of Public Relations and Protocols on Monday explained that the two platforms are designed to give students, prospective students, staff, parents, alumni, partners, the media and the general public easier access to relevant institutional information and essential online services.
A Two-Tier Digital Platform

The new system is structured around two distinct portals, each serving a specific purpose.
The Official School Website, accessible at ksplokoja.edu.ng, serves as the Polytechnic’s primary information hub. It provides access to institutional information, details of principal officers and management, an overview of schools, departments and programmes, news and announcements, the academic calendar, admissions information, institutional achievements and projects, events and activities, the school’s policies, vision and mission, as well as general contact information.
The Student/Online Services Portal, hosted at portal.ksplokoja.edu.ng, is dedicated to academic and administrative transactions. Through it, users can carry out online applications, admission screening, student login and profile management, school fees payment, course registration, result checking, receipt printing, course form printing, admission letter printing, and student document printing. The portal also supports transcript and other payment processes, as well as the Full-Time Lower (FUL) Conversion Programme.
Reduced Physical Processes, Round-the-Clock Access
According to the institution, the deployment of the two platforms is expected to further improve the quality, efficiency and accessibility of services at the Polytechnic by reducing unnecessary physical processes and making vital information and services readily available online. Students, prospective students and other stakeholders can now access relevant information, initiate and complete applicable processes, and carry out their academic and administrative activities through the appropriate platform, at any time and from any location.
Management has urged students, prospective students and other stakeholders to make effective use of the platforms as part of the institution’s continuing effort to enhance accessibility, convenience and digital service delivery.
Rector’s Vision Drives Digital Transformation
The Polytechnic described the successful deployment of the platforms as a reflection of the visionary and purposeful leadership of the Rector, Prof. Salihu Sanusi Avidime, and his commitment to transforming the institution through technology and innovation.
Under his leadership, the Management has continued to prioritise initiatives that promote efficiency, accessibility and improved service delivery, with the launch of the new website and online services portal standing as another practical demonstration of the Rector’s determination to build a more modern, responsive and digitally driven Polytechnic.
In this regard, Management commended the Acting Coordinator of the Directorate of Information Technology and Resource Centre (ITRC), Abu Isah Okikiri, for his exceptional technical expertise and dedication to the successful deployment of the platforms for the benefit of students, staff and all stakeholders.
Members of the public and the Polytechnic community can visit ksplokoja.edu.ng for institutional information, and portal.ksplokoja.edu.ng for student and online services.
