Voice of Mopamuro Youths (VOMY), a leading youth pressure group in Mopamuro Local Government Area of Kogi State, has congratulated the indigenes, citizens and residents of the area.
This was contained in a statement titled “New Year Congratulatory Message to Mopamuro People” signed by the Leader of VOMY, Julius Olushola Abel, popularly known as Ontop.
VOMY appreciated the people for maintaining peace and order despite the security and economic challenges faced with the area in 2021.
The statement describes the people as the overall stakeholders in the development of Mopamuro, appreciates the effort of all individuals, group of persons, politicians, political parties, youths, students, government representatives, non governmental organization and business persons who have organised programs and contributed to the development of the area especially in terms of security, youth development and empowerment.
“We all need to come together in as united Mopamuro Citizens to make landmark achievements which we haven’t been able to make since the beginning of Mopamuro Local Government”, the statement added.
“Our prayer in VOMY is that Mopamuro will attain greater heights in 2022.”
