Sequel to the security challenge in Kaduna metropolis and the warming up of NLC nation wide industrial action which led to the postponement of the evening 1st/3rd semester examination of Kaduna Polytechnic till further notice, it has reached the ears of some concerned student leaders that most of the students of Kogi extraction on the campus are stranded without having any means of going back to their various homes since the enforcement of the 24/7 curfew by the Kaduna state government.
It is on this note that we call on the state government, the chief of staff, Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, the Commissioner of Education, S.A on Security, S.A on Students Matter and all concerned to please come to aid of our dear students in Kaduna polytechnic by stretching a helping hand in providing any means of transportation to enable these students come back home safely.
We request for 3 buses or more with adequate security to go and pick up these students in the campus of Kaduna Polytechnic as that will not only put them in safer condition but believing in the state government of having the students interest at heart.
Thank you as we anticipate to hear a quick and positive responds from the state government.
However, we urge all our dear students of Kogi extraction to be calm and get themselves ready, believing that the New Direction government will come to our aid as quick as possible, for the interest of the students is its priority.
