The Deputy Majority Leader and member representing Ankpa I State constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Honorable Ahmed Mohammed wishes Muslims a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.
In his very brief message made available to the press, he urged all Ankpa Sons and Daughters to seize the opportunity of the Holy Month to offer prayers for peace, unity, and rapid socio-economic development in the nation. According to him, Ramadan is also a period when Muslims come together to give charitably to the less fortunate.
In his words, “We must increase our acts of worship in this holy month, and re dedicate ourselves to projecting the Islamic virtues of brotherly love, peaceful co-existence, honesty, tolerance, piety, fairness, equity and justice for all in their dealings with others.
“As the holy month begins, I wish all those celebrating a very happy and prosperous Ramadan.”
