Wada’s Govt is Committed to Improving Lives of Kogites – Awoniyi

The present administration in Kogi State under the leadership of Capt. Idris Wada has been described as one that means well for the State.

Yomi Awoniyi, the State Deputy Governor stated this at the commencement of the 22 year anniversary celebration of Chapel of Freedom International Churches, Lokoja.

Awoniyi called on the people to continuously pray for the Governor, disclosing that amidst dwindling financial resources and high expectations from the people, the administration has kept faith with improving the lives of the people and in the sustainable development of the State.

Awoniyi disclosed that the present administration under the leadership of Capt. Wada, aside the numerous challenge associated with governance, is resolved and committed to making the State a model in human and infrastructural development within available resources.

Awoniyi commended Bishop John Ibenu,ย  Presiding Bishop, Chapel of Freedom International churches for being a veritable source for spreading the gospel of Christ, commended him for dutifully committed to doing God’s work.

Awoniyi congratulated the church for its twenty two years of its establishment, said the anniversary of the church should be used for sober reflection, propelled by the teaching of Jesus Christ.

In his Sunday message centered on the Anointing, Bishop John Ibenu, Presiding Bishop, Chapel of Freedom International churches, Lokoja,said every blessing come from God, urged Christians to have faith and trust in God to meet their pressing needs.

The clergyman prayed for peace for the nation, disclosed that the nation can only experience its greatness in an atmosphere of peace.

Highlights of the service was prayers for the government of the State and for peace across the country.
