An upcoming Nigeria singer, Ernest, popularly known as Star Boy Nexy, a 300level Economics student of Kogi State University, Anyigba has been burnt to death by suspected cultists at his lodge early hour of today.
He was burnt to death in his lodge by rival cultist who came in group shooting to the air around 4:00am this morning. The lodge where he lived and was burnt is said to be built and owned by his father.
The Chief Security Officer of University decline to give vivid insight into what transpired to TheAmbassadorsng correspondent when we he called as he directed him to the university Public Relation Officer (PRO). The CSO however state “No student was killed on our campus but there is a report of something like that”. The university Public Relation Officer’s number was switched off as at the time of filing this report.
However, David Owah, President, National Association of Kogi State Student (NAKOSS), Kogi State University Chapter and President, Student Union Government (SUG) confirmed to the incident to TheAmbassadorsng.
Men of the Nigeria Police were sited this morning at the resident this morning picking up his body, secured the environment and has since began investigation.
Ernest contested for Director of Social II and lost in recently concluded Student Union Government (SUG) in Kogi State University, Anyigba and has performed in so many shows in and outside the University.
