Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Nasir Ajannah, has called on Nigerians to come together and fight what he called increasing rate of cult activities in the country.
Ajanah, who made the call at the weekend in Ankpa, while reviewing the warrants of one Idris Halilu, who is standing trial for allegedly belonging to a secret society, said the war against cultism is a collective responsibility of all well meaning Nigerians.
He assured that the state judiciary will not relent in ensuring that justice gets to the door step of every resident. Cases of 22 awaiting trial inmates were reviewed at the prison, while one prisoner was granted unconditional release.
