Abdul Adama Presents Relief Materials and Cash to Flood Victims in Idah

The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Public Private Partnership (PPP), Alhaji Abdul Adama has donated food and cash worth five hundred thousand naira (N500, 000) to persons affected by the flood in his constituency, Idah.

Adama presented the food items and a sum of N100, 000 cash to the Liaison Officer 1, Dr. Abutalib Major at the local government premises in Idah.

The Special Adviser lamented the huge loss occasioned by the flood say such magnitude has never been witnessed especially for those who are below 50 years of age. He prayed that God help Kogi people overcome this menace so we can live our normal lives again.

“I also wish to call on all God-fearing Idah citizens to come home and assist our people who are affected by the flood. We all have a role to play; if you cannot give money and materials please pray for the victims. May Allah answer our prayers”, he said.

“In addition to prayers, pay them visits; make friends from among them; say good words to them; smile at them, for even a smile is rewarding”

Alhaji Abdul Adama donated 20 bags of rice, 10 bags of maize, 10 jerrycans of vegetable oil, 1 bag of beans, 6 bags of salt, and 6 cartons of maggi.
