- Group hails Kogi State University lecturer’s conferment as “a great reward for hard work and selfless humanitarian service”
The Ejuku Youth Forum has congratulated Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Nasiru Araba, Head of the Department of Political Science at Kogi State University, Kabba (KOSU), on his conferment as a Fellow of the Society for Peace Studies and Practices (SPSP).
Dr. Araba is an indigene of Ejuku in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The investiture took place on October 6, 2026, during the opening ceremony of the Society’s 20th Annual International Conference and General Assembly, held at Lead City University, Ibadan, Oyo State. The event was attended by eminent Nigerians from different sectors.

In a press statement signed by its President, Olusegun Paul Demokun, the Forum described the honour as a reward for decades of dedicated work and humanitarian service.
“This is a great reward for hard work and selfless humanitarian service over decades,” the statement said. “We are so proud of you and we pray that Almighty God elevate you to greater heights.”
The Forum, which counts Dr. Araba as one of its own, said it takes great pride in his achievement and wished him continued success in his academic and humanitarian endeavours.
