Idrufem Food Bank Distributes Relief Items to Muslim Faithful, Widows Across Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency

In a remarkable demonstration of compassion, unity, and people-centered leadership, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Candidate for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Dr. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi, popularly known as IDRUFEM, has once again extended a hand of support to the people through the distribution of thousands of food items to Muslim faithfuls, widows, and vulnerable residents across the constituency in celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

The distribution, carried out through IDRUFEM’s Food Bank Initiative, reached several communities within Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency and featured essential food items such as rice, vegetable oil, Maggi seasoning, salt, and other household consumables aimed at easing the burden on families during the festive season.

Speaking during the exercise, IDRUFEM stated that the initiative was borne out of genuine love for the people and the desire to ensure that no family is left behind during the sacred celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.

According to him, “Eid -el- Kabir is a season that teaches sacrifice, love, compassion, and togetherness. This gesture is a token of our commitment to humanity and our continuous resolve to identify with the needs of our people, especially widows, the less privileged, and Muslim faithfuls celebrating this special season.”

The humanitarian outreach attracted commendations from community leaders, religious groups, women associations, and beneficiaries who described the intervention as timely, impactful, and reflective of responsive leadership.

Many beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to IDRUFEM for consistently standing with the people at critical times, noting that his Food Bank Initiative has continued to bring relief and hope to many households across the constituency.
