Kabba Stakeholders Reaffirm Chief Ben Olowodola’s Leadership, Strategize for Tinubu, Ododo Re-election Victory

In a historic and well-attended gathering that underscored unity, loyalty, and political foresight, stakeholders, party leaders across all political wards, and respected community figures in Kabba have unanimously reaffirmed Chief Ben Olowodola as their leader. The high-level meeting, which drew participation from key political actors and grassroots mobilizers, was not only a demonstration of confidence in his leadership but also a strategic convergence aimed at strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The atmosphere at the meeting reflected a shared sense of purpose, as speakers took turns to highlight the importance of continuity in leadership at both the state and national levels. Central to the discussions was the collective resolve to ensure the successful re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, whom they described as leaders committed to sustainable development and inclusive governance.

Delivering a goodwill address, Hon. Funsho Olorunfemi praised the leadership style of Governor Ododo, noting that his administration has continued to build on the legacy of progress in Kogi State. He emphasized that good governance must be rewarded with continued support, urging party members and the people of Kabba to remain steadfast in their loyalty to the APC. He further called for total mobilization across all wards to ensure that President Tinubu secures a resounding mandate for a second term.

In his remarks, Colonel Dare Yomi (Rtd) provided a detailed reflection on the political contributions of Chief Ben Olowodola, particularly his pivotal role as the North Central Director-General of the 2023 Presidential Campaign.

He stated that Chief Olowodola’s leadership, coordination, and strategic planning were instrumental in delivering victory for the APC across the North Central region. According to him, such experience remains invaluable as the party prepares for another crucial electoral cycle.

High Chief Julius Arokoyo also lent his voice in strong support of Chief Olowodola, describing him as a bridge-builder and a rallying point for unity within Kabba. He commended his consistency, humility, and unwavering commitment to both party and community development. He urged all leaders and stakeholders to close ranks, set aside differences, and work collectively towards achieving victory for President Tinubu and Governor Ododo.

Other notable leaders present at the meeting echoed similar sentiments, each reinforcing the need for unity, discipline, and effective grassroots engagement.

The meeting was graced by an array of respected leaders and stakeholders, including Hon. Emmanuel Ayo (Arewa), APC Zonal Chairman, Kogi West, Hon Raphael Okomoda, Hon. Ade-Raph Olamife, Chief Oluwadamilare Yomi Johnson, HRH Tolorunleke Obagbayi, and Alhaji Zak Ejibunu, the KDU President. Also present were respected overall women leader, party executives across wards, youths and women representatives. Others are House of Assembly Aspirants Chief Tai Ejibunu and Chief Olugbemi Femi, other critical community stakeholders whose presence further demonstrated the unity and shared commitment within Kabba.

Importantly, the stakeholders clarified that the meeting was convened as a strategic session to outline actionable plans for the forthcoming elections.

Discussions centered on strengthening party structures at the ward level, enhancing voter mobilization strategies, improving communication among leaders, and ensuring that the achievements of both President Tinubu and Governor Ododo are effectively communicated to the people.
