Newly elected woman leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi state, Hajiya Bilikisu Muhammed Onusagba, has pledged to promote unity and inclusiveness in the party.
In her acceptance statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Saturday, Onusagba assured women that she will work tirelessly for their empowerment, enlightenment, emancipation and participation in politics.
Onusagba promised to focus on capacity building, girl child and community development.
She promised to work together with all members to build a stronger ADC in Kogi state.
She assured the people of Kogi State that ADC is committed to good governance and development.
“We’ll work with all stakeholders to drive progress,” she promised.
