Engr. Edward Olatunji Meseko has called on Muslim faithful to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to offer prayers for the peace, unity and progress of Nigeria.
Meseko made the call in a goodwill message issued on Friday to mark the end of the Ramadan fast, urging Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to the growth of the nation.
He congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan, describing the period as one of deep reflection, sacrifice and devotion to the will of God.

According to him, the lessons of Ramadan, including patience, self-discipline, love and generosity, should be sustained beyond the fasting period for the overall good of society.
“I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to pray for Nigeria, especially at this critical time in our national life. We must seek divine guidance for our leaders and for peace to reign across the country,” he said.
Meseko also encouraged Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, to embrace unity and work together for the development of their communities.
He noted that collective efforts and sincere prayers would help address the challenges facing the country and pave the way for a better future.
The engineer further called on leaders at all levels to be responsive to the needs of the people and to govern with fairness and accountability.
Meseko wished all Muslim faithful a joyful Eid-el-Fitr celebration and prayed for continued blessings, good health and prosperity.
