Before the usual chorus begins, before the emergency activists, Twitter dramatists, professional protesters, and serial election losers rise again to shout rigging ! we were robbed ! INEC failed us ! etc, let us confront the political reality they fear the most, the political map of Nigeria today is overwhelmingly painted in APC colours.
Facts are stubborn, numbers do not lie; propaganda does.
And as 2027 approaches, those who thrive on noise will pretend not to know how Nigeria’s political architecture is currently structured. But here is the truth they will desperately avoid.
South – South with 6 states, Delta is APC, Akwa Ibom, APC, Edo APC, Cross River APC, Rivers APC and Bayelsa APC, and the verdict ?, A region once declared a no-go area for APC is now completely under the party, the so called stronghold has fallen flat.
South – East with 5 states, Enugu is APC, Ebonyi APC, Imo APC, Abia LP and
Anambra APGA, and the verdict, APC has broken the old political monopoly and now holds majority control in a region opposition parties once claimed as untouchable.
South West with 6 states Lagos is APC, Ekiti APC, Ogun APC, Ondo APC,cOyo PDP and Osun Accord, the verdict is, the he political fortress of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains solid, stable, and massively APC. No shaking.
North – Central with 6 states, Benue is APC, Niger APC, Kwara, APC
Nasarawa APC, Kogi APC and Plateau PDP and the verdict is, APC dominates the zone with 5 out of 6 states, an emphatic control the opposition cannot wish away.
North – East with 6 states, Borno is APC, Yobe APC, Taraba PDP, Gombe APC
Adamawa PDP and Bauchi PDP, and the verdict ? a competitive zone, but APC still commands the strongest political machinery across the region.
North – West 7 States, Katsina is APC, Jigawa APC, Sokoto APC, Kebbi APC, Kaduna APC, Zamfara PDP, Kano NNPP, the verdict? APC remains the supreme political force in the North-West, the largest voting bloc in Nigeria.
APC controls the national political terrain at the moment, state by state, region by region.
With this overwhelming dominance, one question becomes unavoidable, How will any party that cannot control the political map suddenly win the presidency, except through imaginary conspiracies and phantom accusations ?
Before they start shouting rigging, before they insult INEC, APC, the President, and every imaginary enemy,
before they cook up their 2027 excuses, they should first study the map. The numbers have already spoken.
This is not guesswork, this is not social media fantasy, this is Nigeria’s political reality as of today December 11, 2025.
The 2027 election will be decided by structure, reach, discipline, and strategic dominance, and today, APC stands miles ahead of every other party.
