2023: Kogi APC Campaign Council Directs Local Chapters to Pay Signage Fees for Posters, Billboards

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state has expressed its commitment to paying advertisement and signage fees as required by law.

The state APC campaign council also directed its zonal and local chapters to adhere strictly to the provisions of Kogi State Signage Law as it affects display of campaign materials to create awareness for party candidates ahead of the 2023 general elections.

This was contained in a press statement issued by the director of media and publicity, Kogi State APC campaign council, Kingsley Femi Fanwo in Lokoja on Tuesday.

“Our party and campaign council have fully committed to paying the subscription fees as well as adhere strictly to other provisions of the law.

“As a Campaign Council, we commend the State House of Assembly for passing the Bill into Law to ensure improved IGR and environmental sanity.

“All our Zonal and Local Chapters of the Campaign Council are enjoined to strictly adhere to the Law,” he said.

Fanwo stated that the Chairman of the Kogi State APC Campaign Council, Governor Yahaya Bello has also reiterated the readiness of the party to win elections at all levels in the state, even as he intensifies efforts at rallying Nigerian youth behind Tinubu/Shettima as the National Youth Coordinator of the presidential campaigns.

According to him, Gov. Bello is optimistic that his track record in the state would deliver massively for the party.

He said the Governor affirmed that, “Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has all it takes to fix the economy of the country and take it forward into prosperity”.

The Campaign Council also called on all party faithful to conduct the election in the most peaceful manner.

“Our products are the best for Nigeria and our various constituencies. All we want to promote are the qualities they possess and the hope they promise.”
