Former House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Zak Jonathan has assured electorates in Kogi State that African Democratic Congress (ADC) will sweep aside the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019.

Zak gave the assurance while inspecting the new office for ADC in Lokoja on Thursday.

The Oworo-born politician stated that the new office for ADC Kogi chapter will be commissioned soon by the national chairman of the party. The new office is located along Lokongoma Phase II, opposite KEFAS multi-purpose hall, Lokoja.

According to him, the leaders of ADC are expected to hold joint and separate talks with a view to forging an alliance and supporting one strong and acceptable presidential candidate.

“We call on all members of APC and PDP to see reasons why ADC will come to power in 2019. The train is moving very fast and the prophetic OBJ has once again seen what we cannot see. We know the former president as a leading light to good governance,” he said.

ADC, popular referred to as the ‘Third Force’ has the backing of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Some top opposition parties, like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP), are expected in the proposed alliance with ADC.

Pastor Zak contested on the platform of the same ADC as a House of Assembly candidate in 2015.
