There are strong indications that Paul Kolade a Taekwondo athlete may likely dump Kogi state for other scouting states ahead of the 2017 National Sports Festival.

Combatnewswatch gathered that states like Delta, Kebbi, Anambra and Kano are top of the list in signing the Zaria based athlete.

Kolade who is yet to represent Kogi in any competitive competition participated at the 2015 All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo.

The national player is a graduate of Nuhu bamalli polytechnic, Zaria and is on his top form.

In a chart with the kogi born athlete Kolade, he lamented that“My state doesn’t know me, I have never gotten any invitation from them and there is no reason why I should force myself on them”.

“Here in Kaduna state we have Kogites excelling in sporting activities. Also the current head coach of Kogi Judo association was a product of Zaria. Kogi has the best players in the country, but finds it difficult to acknowledge their efforts.”
