Kogi state Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Enema Paul has felicitated with the youth as the world mark this year’s International Youth Day. He urged them to dedicate it to conflict prevention and transformation into sustainable peace.
Enema pointed out that the youths are the pillars upon which societies rely for in achieving meaningful developments saying the present government of Kogi state has poised itself at identifying and resolving the problems being faced by the youths by placing youths at the forefront of decisions and policy making.
The youthfully energetic commissioner thereafter charged the youth to embrace the various intervention programmes being rolled out by the present administration.
Speaking further, he said his ministry is on its part doing all within its capacity to help the youth especially in areas of artisan skills, rural projects and educational support.
In his concluding wishes, he called on the youth to abide by this year’s international youths day theme which is “Youth Building Peace” and conduct themselves in all their endeavors with peace and respect for laws and order as the hallmark of existence.
