100 Days in Office: Kogi Assembly Majority Leader Commences Distribution of Cash Palliative for Constituents

Member representing Okene I constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Suleiman Abubakar, has flagged off distribution of cash palliative to the people of his constituents.

The cash palliative, according to the lawmaker, is to ameliorate the effect of the nationwide fuel subsidy removal.

Over 300 constituents benefitted from the first phase off the distribution.

Speaking at the flag-off event held at NA Primary School, Agassa, Okene on Monday, Suleiman expressed gratitude to his constituents for giving him the opportunity to serve.

Suleiman, who is the Majority Leader in the State House of Assembly, appealed to his constituents to be patient with the President Bolu Tinubu led Federal Government, assuring that in no time things will be stable.

He also called on the people to canvass for the governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comrade Joel Oyibo in other for them to consolidate on the achievements of Governor Yahaya bello who has over the years brought numerous infrastructural development to the state and has made it his priority to ensure the safety of lives and property of his people.

The occasion was graced by Alhaji Umar Shaibu Oricha, the DG Kogi State Government House who served as father of the day.

Okene local government council chairman, Hon Abdulrazaq Muhammad Okene LG chairman and other top government officials across the state were also present.
