Gov. Yahaya Bello Commissions Rural Electrification Projects In Zango Daji/Banda

The executive governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has commissioned historic rural electrification projects embarked upon by the Kogi state ministry of rural development under the stewardship of Hon. Enema Paul amidst joy and daylight splendour among residents of the benefiting communities.
The electrification project, which was classically executed, was contracted to New moon Nigeria limited with a very standard execution apt for post generational impact in Zango Daji/Banda as it shall conveniently cover and render steady supply to about eight communities (Banda, Kungbani, Karara, Ijiho, Gbaude, Ohono, Jamata and Akpanya) in Lokoja local government area.
While commissioning the project, the governor pointed out that the gesture is part of his administration’s commitment toward delivering good governance to the electorates noting that the illumination shall boost commercial activities in the area and by extension improve their livelihood owing to the highway location of the area.
On his part, the honorable commissioner for rural development, Hon Enema Paul thanked God for sparing their lives to witness a day like that even as he stressed that the government of Governor Yahaya Bello is one that is fully committed to the welfare of the citizens and charged all asunder to join hands in moving the state forward irrespective of ethnics, faith professed, political leaning and social status.
Responding on behalf of the communities, Comrade Aliu Usman expressed his gratitude to Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and God for lifting their communities from what he described as dungeon of  darkness neglected by previous administrations in the state promising that the benefiting community shall guard it jealously for judicious use and longevity.
While concluding, the governor asserted that “as long as they (the communities) continue to use this light, Yahaya Bello’s name and government shall forever remain indelible in their hearts and such memory is the legacy we want to leave behind.
The exercise was carried out agog as the state governor was accompanied by a high profile delegation which included the deputy governor, Elder Simon Achuba, secretary to the state government, Mrs Ayoade Folashade, The Chief of Staff, Hon Edward Onoja, ranking commissioners, special advisers, senior special assistants and traditional rulers of the LGA and that of the benefiting communities who played host to the guests.
