The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo has hailed Mr Olanrewaju Elijah as he bows out of the Obajana Cement Company.
The Commissioner gave the commendation in a statement personally signed by him, describing Chief Elijah as “an extraordinary entrepreneur and lover of his people”.
“Today marks another point in the history of your life as you bow out of the Obajana Cement Company after years of meritorious service to Africa’s biggest cement factory.
“You are an extraordinary entrepreneur and a lover of your people. You have used your positions and opportunities to lift the downtrodden and God Almighty will continue to bless your endeavours too”.
Fanwo said Chief Elijah remains an example of the “grass to grace transformation”, urging Yagba youth to emulate his sterling qualities.
“You epitomise character, hard work, honesty and tenacity of purpose; you are an amazing patriot and a progressive. We celebrate you,” he said.
