Hon. Musa Olumayowa Yakubu (MOY), the African Democratic Congress (ADC) flagbearer for Ijumu State Constituency II, has warmly welcomed the ADC Flagbearer for Kogi West Senatorial District, Alhaji Musa Ahmadu Ibrahim, to Ijumu Local Government Area, describing his familiarisation and consultation visit as timely and a significant step toward strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, MOY said the visit offers the people of Ijumu an opportunity to interact directly with the party’s senatorial candidate as he formally presents his vision and seeks the support of the electorate.
“The decision to embark on an early consultation tour across Kogi West demonstrates commitment, humility, and a genuine desire to connect with the people. It is a commendable initiative that reflects the leadership culture of our great party,” MOY stated.
He expressed confidence that the visit would further energise ADC members and supporters across Ijumu, while encouraging other party candidates to sustain regular engagement with the grassroots.
MOY reaffirmed that Ijumu remains committed to the ideals of the ADC and pledged the full support and cooperation of party members in ensuring the success of Alhaji Musa Ahmadu Ibrahim’s senatorial ambition.
