The Win With Tinubu (WWT) Grassroots Mobilisation Programme in Kogi State has named Hon. Musa Bakare as its new Chief Media Strategist, a move leaders say will sharpen the group’s communication machinery as it gears up for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections.
The appointment was unveiled by the State Coordinator, Hon. Philip Sani, during a strategic meeting in Lokoja, where he outlined the programme’s plans to deepen its reach across Kogi State.
Sani said the decision reflects the leadership’s determination to build a media structure that is robust, coordinated, and result-driven — one capable of clearly communicating the achievements, policies, and programmes of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration while drawing citizens more closely into the conversation.

In his new role, Bakare will steer strategic direction across media relations, publicity, public information, strategic messaging, digital communication, and grassroots media engagement throughout the state — a broad mandate that places him at the centre of WWT’s outreach ahead of the 2027 polls.
Responding to the announcement, Bakare thanked the leadership for its confidence in him and pledged full commitment to the assignment. He assured the programme that he would bring his experience and expertise to bear in carrying out his new responsibilities.
A statement signed by Omoladun Asabe Frank-Baiye, Director, Strategic Communications, Media and Publicity, Grassroots Mobilisation Programme, WWTK Kogi West, said the appointment is part of a broader push by the group’s Kogi chapter to strengthen its internal structures, widen grassroots engagement, and roll out communication strategies designed to resonate with residents across the state as the countdown to 2027 continues.
