The wife of Kogi State’s Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Princess Karimat Muizudeen, has hosted a distinguished gathering of women from Kogi Central in what participants described as a landmark engagement centred on empowerment, unity, and community development.
The meeting drew together partners, party women executives, market women, and artisans from across the senatorial district for an interactive session focused on inclusive growth and the advancement of women’s welfare.

Party women leaders who attended the event visited Princess Karimat with visible joy and appreciation, and her warm reception set the tone for a gathering marked by sisterhood, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to uplifting women in the district.
Speaking at the engagement, Princess Karimat commended the resilience and contributions of women in the marketplace, in leadership, and in skilled trades across Kogi Central. She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen women economically and socially, while also amplifying their voices in decision-making processes.
She stressed that the development of Kogi Central would be faster and more sustainable when women are fully carried along, and pledged to work closely with market associations, artisans, and party structures to expand opportunities for skills acquisition, financial support, and mentorship.
Women leaders in attendance expressed gratitude for the engagement, describing it as the first of its kind and a clear signal of purposeful leadership that recognizes the value of women at the grassroots.
The session closed with prayers, solidarity songs, and a renewed pledge among attendees to work together for the continued progress of Kogi Central.
