Wada’s Special Adviser Honoured in Abuja for His Contributions to Sport Development in Nigeria

One of the newly sworn-in Special Advisers to Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State, Alhaji Abdul Adama has been recognised and honoured for his contributions to sports development in Nigeria.

Supreme Magazine, in Abuja, honoured Alhaji Adama at her 3rd African Credibility Gold Award.

Alhaji Adama, until his appointment was the Chairman of the only privately owned football club in Nigeria’s premier league.

He formed the club, then known as Bukola Babes, and nutured the club to the present level they are. The club, now known as Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club, is presently regarded as the Arsenal football club of Nigeria Premier League because of their style of play.

Previous recipients of the African Credibility Gold Award are the Governor of Niger State, Dr. Muazu Aliyu Babangida, Senator Tunde Ogbeha, Major General Mohammed Dan-Hanne Isah, Otunba Olusola Fosudo and a few others.

A native of Idah, Alhaji Abdul Adama is an all round administrator with traceable achievements.
