Vote Massively for Buhari, APC Candidates – Lawi Urges Kogites

The member representing Okene l State constituency, Hon. Lawi AT Ahmed, have applauded the developmental policy of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The lawmaker acknowledged the efforts of government in the area of job creation, through which jobs had been created for some of the youths.

Hon. Lawi while responding to newsmen in Okene, said the youths across the six geo-political zones constituted the major beneficiaries of government programmes.

Hon. Lawi cited the reforms in agriculture, transportation, small and medium scale enterprises and power sub-sectors of the economy as potential areas of job creation.

He appealed to the president to go a step further by introducing social security and empowerment schemes to alleviate the suffering of unemployed youths, and the aged in the society.

He said that this would go a long way to reducing crime and poverty level among Nigerians, especially those in the rural areas.

Hon. Lawi reiterated his implicit confidence in the ability of president Buhari administration to lead the country to the promised land and pledged his total support to President Buhari administration.

Hon. Lawi also commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for providing the people with purposeful leadership and for creating jobs for over 10,000 youths through the youth empowerment programme scheme.

The Lawmaker also advise the governor to build skill acquisition and development centre across the 21 local government of Kogi State. 
He said that the centre, if build, would help to reduce the unemployment level among the people.

The lawmaker called on the state government to focus more attention on the development of tourism, sports, agriculture and solid mineral deposits to create wealth and jobs for the citizens.

Lawi expressed his support for the national leadership of the party led by Comr. Adams Oshiomhole and the state party executive led by Hon. Abdullahi Bello.
