The member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Alfa Mommoh Rabiu has said that his existence is only for the people of Ojoku and Enjema districts of Ankpa local government area of Kogi state.
The distinguished honorable disclosed this while reacting to constituents whom were taken unawares by his seemingly not ending magnanimity while he was on inspection of some of his ongoing projects across the constituency stressing that as long as he lives, he shall not relent in delivering dividends of good governance to the people of the area.
In his words: “Having sworn in my oath of office to deliver dividends to my constituents within the period of four years, until 2019 when you shall decide on where and whether or not to give me another assignment, my existence is for you only” he said.
While thanking him for his numerous gestures and humble disposition, one Salisu Musa who was particularly bewildered by his instant donation of one hundred thousand naira for the purchase of generator that will aid the pumping of water at one of the already completed borehole pointed out that the legislator has disappointed him in all the negative thought and impression he had before.
With overwhelmed joy profuse surprise he said “this is not Rabiu…No! I thought they said he is arrogant and easily gets angry at elders? If his bravery is arrogance, I shall teach my children same for he has not only proved people wrong but given me the true picture of selfless leadership and God shall forever remain his footage.”
On his part, Hon Rabiu without any regret reminded his constituents that he contested for the same house of assembly position and lost in the 2017 and 2011 elections adding that his been at the house of assembly today is all owed to God and the unwavering support of the masses vowing never to severe their interests.
