Many will agree with me that the repercussions of political thuggery is still fresh in our heart as we’ve lost sizeable number of youths to untimely death as a result of thuggery and destruction of properties worth millions of naira.
It is unfortunate that the youths who should condemn thuggery are same people who have submitted themselves to the so called political leaders to be used to stir up violence that will at the end of the day consume same youths.
It is high time we begin to think more of our future and do away with the get rich quick syndrome that has sent well meaning youths to early graves leaving behind their children who will never be fended for by those politicians in whose course they were killed.
Have you sit and imagine what you will tell your children if you are asked “Daddy what do you do for a living?”
It is pertinent to note that any leader whose style of empowerment is to hand over a gun to you do not like you. And as such you should distance yourself from such type of people.
I join the millions of people who are condemning the high level of violence and animosity that ensued yesterday at Ofejikpi.
